Matthew Vaughn, producer of Lock, Stock and two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, two excellent movies, directs the movie Kickass. As you may have already heard Kickass is not what you expect as the previews did not advertise it very well however it is entertaining. This movie is definitely not for kids under 14 more for the adult content then the action. The story and plot are weak, it is the comically graphic action scenes that make the movie. I would describe the fight scenes as Kill Bill meets the Matrix and to make it even more interesting the star of the scenes is a 10 year old girl with purple hair. The fight physics have just the right amount impossibility without going to far. Sure there may have been a few bullets dodged but its worth it to see a 10 year old defying gravity like a Chinese action movie. All in all, the action was worth seeing in theaters.
